Speaker Bios

Kari Sansom is a Mortgage Loan Officer with BB&T, one of the largest financial services holding companies in the US. She has 16 years of experience in the mortgage finance industry and has specialized in residential mortgage lending for the past 14 years; the past 12 years have been with BB&T. Her expertise is in mortgage lending for borrowers needing assistance with their primary residence, vacation homes, investment properties, and construction loans. She is passionate about helping first time buyers and has advocated/consulted for additional products and services to be available for first time buyers.

Madeline Johnson, CMB is an Executive Financial Consultant at Milliman, Inc., one of the largest Actuarial and Consulting firms. She has over 30 years’ experience in the mortgage finance industry specializing in capital markets, risk management and strategic planning. She advises mortgage lenders, mortgage insurers, government agencies and the GSEs.  Independent for over 70 years, Milliman delivers market-leading services and solutions to clients worldwide. With no agenda, other than getting it right.
